Confirm Excuse to Vote Absentee

In your state, you need to have a valid “excuse” to request a ballot.

Take a look at the requirements and make sure you meet at least one before requesting your ballot. You'll be asked to provide the reason on the official ballot request form.

Confirm Received Absentee Ballot

After requesting your ballot, check to make sure it has arrived in the mail. This way, if it gets delayed or lost, there's time to contact your election official for new one ahead of the deadline.
